Remote tuning is a process.

Your first file is focused on:

Most modified vehicles require revisions before the final tune is complete.

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE TERMS BEFORE SERVICE CAN CONTINUE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELED AND REFUNDED BEFORE ANY TUNING WORK CONTINUES.
1. Custom Digital Tuning Service
  • This is a custom, non-refundable tune file and tuning service built specifically for your vehicle, hardware, and submitted stock file.
  • You are purchasing a custom digital service, not a refundable shelf product.
  • No refunds will be issued once work has begun, a file has been reviewed, a tune has been written, or support has been provided for this order.
2. Customer Information and File Accuracy
  • You are responsible for providing the correct stock file, correct vehicle information, correct modifications list, correct operating system, correct ECM/TCM licensing status, and correct VIN-related information.
  • Any incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may affect results and may require additional paid support or revisions.
3. VIN Changes, Licensing, and Credits
  • You understand that using VIN change features, replacing modules, changing operating systems, changing vehicle identities, or writing to a different vehicle may require you to purchase new interface credits, new licensing, or additional support.
  • JR Jones Racing is not responsible for lost credits, incorrect licensing, VIN mismatch issues, or additional credit purchases required by HP Tuners or any other tuning platform.
  • If you use a VIN change feature or attempt to apply the file to a different VIN or vehicle, you should expect that additional credits or licensing may be required.
4. Vehicle Mechanical Condition
  • You are responsible for making sure the vehicle is in safe and proper mechanical condition before any read, write, flash, startup, or driving related to this tune file.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, fuel system condition, ignition condition, battery and charging system health, wiring integrity, sensor operation, cooling system condition, oil pressure, drivetrain condition, and correction of any existing check-engine lights, diagnostic trouble codes, or known mechanical faults unless specifically disclosed and approved in writing.
  • Custom tuning results depend on the actual mechanical condition of the vehicle and the accuracy of the information and files you provide. Results are not guaranteed where the vehicle has unresolved mechanical issues, incorrect parts data, wiring issues, sensor issues, fuel quality issues, or unsupported combinations.
5. Proper Writing and Flashing Procedures
  • You are solely responsible for using proper flashing and tuning procedures, including using a stable battery charger or power supply, a properly functioning interface, a reliable connection, and a laptop that is powered, charged, and not at risk of shutting down or sleeping during read or write operations.
  • You are responsible for verifying that the correct file is being written to the correct vehicle and that the write environment is stable before beginning any flash process.
6. Risk of Improper Write Conditions
  • Writing or flashing a vehicle without proper voltage support, stable equipment, correct licensing, or proper file verification can damage modules, interrupt writes, consume credits, or create no-start or no-communication conditions.
  • JR Jones Racing is not responsible for damage, failures, or losses caused by improper write conditions, user error, unstable power, bad hardware, incorrect licensing, or use outside the intended vehicle and setup.
7. Assumption of Responsibility
  • You assume all responsibility for the use of this tune file and for verifying that the vehicle is mechanically sound and properly prepared before any flash or write operation.
  • By submitting this order, you confirm that you understand these terms, accept full responsibility for the vehicle-side flashing process and operating conditions, and agree that JR Jones Racing is not responsible for incorrect licensing, lost credits, VIN change consequences, or improper write procedures performed by the customer.

Attach your required stock read file. Logs can be added later if JRJ asks for them.
